Krampus NOLAuf Parade 2023

Krewe of Krampus is returning to a walking parade on the streets of New Orleans after two years of pivoting to a stationary parade, Krampus NOLAuf 2023 is poised to be even bigger than ever.

Krewe of Krampus New Orleans

As the largest Krampus parade in America we welcome visitors and performers from all over the country and abroad in addition to large local crowds. If you want to experience the most exciting and creative Krampuslauf this side of the Alps, be here in New Orleans on December 2rd for a night you will never forget.

The Krewe of Krampus is leading the way by elevating not only the creative standards of walking parades, but also in advancing the inclusion and accessibility of both membership and viewership.

Come see Krampus for yourself and the spectacular show of dark winter known as the NOLAuf.

Toys for Tots

Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the parade and let’s help the Marines hit their goal of getting the toys in the hands of 50,000 boys and girls of New Orleans. Place in the toy float or hand it to a Marine as they pass by.

Accessibility Row

The Krewe of Krampus is pleased to offer the first accessible and inclusive parade in New Orleans.

The Krewe of Krampus has created a parade that promotes a more inclusive experience and greater accessibility. We have Accessibility Row on Independence Street between Royal and Burgundy Streets. In this two block section there are areas for people with limited mobility, there is an area with a host providing audio descriptions of the parade for people that are blind, there is an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter for people that are deaf or hard of hearing, and a “Quiet Zone” for children with sensory processing needs. The Quiet Zone will offer a quieted version of the parade as it goes by, more space for the attendees, and a social story is also available as a download for parents or caretakers to read with their children to help these younger parade goers know what to expect before the parade.

As our Krewe does offer throws, if you are in located in the Quiet Zone and a throw would cause any difficulty we have also created a “No Throws” graphic for you to print and attach to yourself or anyone with you.
